A Message to Public Schools
Public Schools: Cooperative Involvement

The Internet Home School currently provides contracted services to public school districts for homebound populations.  The Internet Home School provides staff training and can assist you in developing Home Bound Service Plans in compliance with Federal laws.

A. Under federal law (sec 504), students with disabilities may be counted in attendance at your school  for ADA purposes - while receiving  IHS distance-instruction at home.

B. Funding to pay the cost of  IHS tuition may be offset through your regular ADA funding and/or the Other-Health-Impaired category of  I.D.E.A.

C. Other formulas for funding may be permitted under the provisions of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Two fee schedules are available (see FEES).  Annual tuition, including enrollment, registration, all textbooks, grading of all assignments and tests, maintenance of transcripts and progress reports, is $3600 per student.

IHS also cooperates with public and private schools in dual enrollment situations for students who do not qualify for special funding.
