Design Science MathPlayer™ enables Internet Explorer to display mathematical notation in web pages. It is based on MathML technology and requires Internet Explorer for Windows version 6.0 and later. We make MathPlayer available for free in order to foster the adoption of MathML in the math, science, and education communities.

Download MathPlayer Setup

To install MathPlayer, download MathPlayer's Setup program and run it. The link below will download a file called MathPlayerSetup.exe. Make a note of where you download it to your computer. Once the download has completed, run MathPlayerSetup.exe. If your browser offers to "Open this file once downloaded", click Open. Otherwise use Windows Explorer to open the download folder, and then double-click MathPlayerSetup.exe.

MathPlayer requires version 6.0 or higher of Internet Explorer for Windows, as the technology used by MathPlayer is only available in these browsers. You can obtain a version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft's web site.
